World Vegan Day 2024
According to the Oxford Dictionary, veganism is defined as "the practice of eating only food not derived from animals and typically of avoiding the use of other animal products." As a social movement, veganism appears to have been on a rapid rise over the past 10 years, with over 700,000 signups to the official Veganuary challenge in 2023 vs 3,300 in 2014.
Since our last post celebrating World Vegan Day in 2020, the global value of the vegan beauty market has grown significantly, with an estimated value of 19.2 billion USD in 2024. It continues to grow at 6% a year, making a potential predicted worth of $32.5 billion by 2032!
