Why You Should Be Using Beard Oil

Mens facial hair is a trend that isn't going anywhere soon, so it's important to know how to keep your beard and moustache looking and feeling healthy. Whether you keep a suave stubble or a rugged full beard, you can keep it looking its best by using a few drops of beard oil every day. It conditions the hair for soft strands and reduced split ends, and moisturises the skin underneath keeping that dreaded beard dandruff away.

Firstly, when you wash your face make sure you're washing your beard and the skin underneath. A buildup of sebum and dead skin cells can cause all kinds of skin issues, so get in there and keep it clean. Don't forget to rinse well! Outback Organics Cedarwood & Black Seed Face Wash is perfect, and with its mild cleansing ingredients won't irritate or dry the skin. Once the skin is clean and dry (don't forget to moisturise the rest of your face) you can take your beard oil and smooth a couple of drops over the hair. If your beard is long enough, comb it through and trim any stray hairs that are growing too long or in the wrong direction. Combing/brushing will also help to distribute the oil through the hairs evenly and clear any debris that wasn't removed with washing.

The ingredients in our Outback Organics Beard Oil are 100% natural and vegan. It is based on sunflower and castor oil, which are two very well known oils used for their moisturising effects. Hemp, Black Cumin and Argan oil all boost the health of the skin & hair and essential oils each offer their own benefits. Lemon is rich in AHA's which exfoliate the dead skin cells, cleanse and brighten. Cedarwood is antiseptic and astringent for a toning effect, while grapefruit and petitgrain mattify and control oil production.  Eucalyptus and peppermint are cooling and stimulate the blood flow. Oat kernal oil provides ceramides to strengthen the skin and reduce redness and irritation.
