Which Peelable Wax Is Right For Me?

Here at Outback Organics, we’re known for our peelable waxes. You might know them as hot wax, but they’re actually used at a lower temperature than many strip/warm waxes.

Outback Organics peelable waxes are based on a hypoallergenic synthetic polymer, which shrink wraps to the hair with microcirculation technology rather than adhering to the skin. This makes for a much gentler and far more comfortable waxing experience than many alternatives. Our wax is extremely pliable, and is also applied thinly, using up to 40% less product than traditional hot wax. The drying time of 6-10 seconds and ability to remove everything from fine fuzz to thick, course hair make it ideal for use on all areas of the face and body.

We recommend using peelable waxing for all facial, bikini, intimate and underarm services. Men’s back and chest waxes are often performed using a combination of peelable and strip wax.  All our peelable waxes are applied in the direction of hair growth and removed against it.

Opal Peelable is our best-selling product overall and is Outback Organics’ hero wax. If you’ve never tried one of our waxes before, it’s a great place to start! It’s hypoallergenic and changes colour as it sets which gives a great visual indicator of when the wax is ready to remove.  It’s also vegan and is great for anyone allergic to colophony or rosin. We especially recommend Opal for intimate waxing.

We also offer Jade, Onyx, True Blue and Gold peelable wax. Our vegan Jade wax is scented with eucalyptus, which is a fresh, feminine scent, and the wax is enhanced with a shimmering rich green colour. Ideal for underarms, facial and intimate waxing.

Onyx is a glossy black vegan wax with an earthy, warm fragrance. It is ideal for male clients as it benefits from added eugenol, an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory ingredient. It is perfect for the back and chest as well as facial waxing. It is especially popular with barbers. 

True Blue is the second newest peelable wax in our range, with a sparkling blue colour and unisex fragrance. Its vegan formula is well suited to underarm, facial and intimate waxing. We also launched White Peelable at the start of this week, with calming lavender oil and a clean white colour.  

Outback Gold peelable was the first of our innovative peelable waxes and is based on a different formula to our others. It is the only one of our peelable waxes that isn’t vegan, containing both beeswax and lanolin. It is also less suitable for those with allergies, as it contains colophony and rosin. It is however excellent for using in larger patches and has a slightly faster drying time than our other peelable waxes. It’s an unfragranced wax, whereas each of our other waxes contain perfume. For these reasons, it is an extremely popular wax in our range, being our second most popular peelable.

There is also a classic white peelable wax in the Outback Organics range. It is lavender scented and traditional in style, offering a thicker application than our other peelable waxes, closer to a classic ‘hot wax’.  The formula is vegan and creamy white in colour.
