Outback Organics celebrates Earth Day 2022

Earth Day 2022.

Friday 22nd April 2022 is Earth Day and is a day when many businesses and individuals take some time to reflect and think about how they can make changes that will benefit the planet long term. Here are a couple of Earth Day facts for you:

As a brand, we have always approached business with sustainability at the forefront of our minds. From making biodegradable products to the way we package your orders. Find everything we are doing and will continue to do to make Outback Organics as earth-friendly as possible below.

• Providing salon-sized products to help reduce single-use plastic waste.
• Continuing to provide sustainable solutions for salons, such as sustainably sourced bamboo consumable products.
• Continuing to offer biodegradable products to our customers, including our Big Wonders gift bags and biodegradable Intimate Wipes.
• Packaging your orders with biodegradable packing peanuts or recyclable packing tape. We also reuse as many boxes as we can and try to use paper tape wherever possible. We have also introduced more staff recycling stations at our head office in Wellington, Somerset.
• In 2022, we are making a more conscious effort to reduce our air miles, by sourcing more UK based manufacturers to make our products.
• We will continue to offer bulk-buying options to our customers to help reduce single-plastic waste. We now offer Opal, Gold, Jade & Onyx Peelable waxes in 10kg boxes.
