Thinking About Male Intimate Waxing?

Male body waxing and intimate waxing has been a growing area over the last few years. We’ve seen it here in the Outback offices, where we’ve had more enquiries about training for male intimate waxing in the last few months than I can remember having in the previous few years!

It’s important to know that waxing the male genitals is quite different in technique to the female intimate wax. The skin is a very different texture in some areas and requires different treatment. The scrotum can be very prone to skin lifts as it is not taut across the testicles and requires very careful stretching to remove the wax safely.

There are three main areas to focus on with a male intimate wax. The pubis (above the penis) and base of the shaft, the testicles and the bum. Each require different waxing techniques. It is fairly common in male waxing to completely remove hair from the testicles and the buttock crevice and leave a level of hair on the pubis, however every client is different and may require a different look.

For some waxers, there is a real concern about awkwardness with the nudity aspect. If the idea of interacting with a naked penis in this way makes you feel uncomfortable, you may wish to consider if offering this service is the right choice for you.
